Rotary Filter Control
When it comes to the control system, we have striven to make its operation simple and comfortable, as well as easy to grasp for everyone. With the freely programmable control system employed for the electric drive mechanism, we have applied this approach to all our rotary filter models.
Our freely programmable control system offers the advantage that you, as the user, can easily change process parameters, such as time or level trigger points, via the display panel. As a result, individual user and installation requirements can be accommodated quickly and comfortably.
Apart from the illuminated display for data entry and alarm messages, the control system features three operating modes (clock – manual – level), and generates an alarm and malfunction signal, which can be transmitted to other existing systems. The rotary filter is equipped with the LOGO control system by SIEMENS, which meets the industry standard in terms of running and operational reliability.
The following modes of operation are possible
LEVEL Mode:
The flushing process is triggered by a difference in water levels between the drum interior and the filter case.
MANUAL Mode:
IDrum rotation and the spraying process are started manually in this mode.
Optional Enlargement of Control Functions:
The functions described above are standard features, with which our filter control system is delivered. However, the LOGO control system has in no way exhausted its possibilities with these functions. Consequently, we have sufficient leeway to implement additional customer-specific tasks, if required.
Such tasks could be:
- Pump and valve control
- Processing of measured values, such as temperature or pH-value
- Transmission of malfunction signals to alarm devices like horns
